No matter your aims or goals when joining, everyone takes away something different. Some will gain confidence and discover potential they never knew they had. One thing is for sure both cadets and adult volunteers gain new skills, qualifications, experiences, and friends for life. All while having a unique adventure.

There is so much to get involved in with the Army Cadets, from going on the range firing the cadet version of the British Army rifle, to learning survival skills, adventure training such as rock climbing, as well as getting involved with helping your local community and getting involved with the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme and so much more.
Joining the Army cadets opens your life up to adventure and gives you life skills and experiences that will help into adult life and your future career, be it in the armed forces or in civilian life.
