Are you ready for an intergalactic adventure?
From Sunday 11th – Sunday 18th February, McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Swindon have hidden 12 different Augmented Reality, space-themed models around the centre.

Find the Swindon’s Space Trail boards, scan the QR code with your phone, and see the models come to life! 

See how many you can find. Take a screenshot of the models you find, and post them online, tagging us and #FestivalOfTomorrow so we can check out your finds!

Mechanical Boom Lab:

The Mechanical Bloom Lab is a robot installation themed on nature. From Sunday 11th – Thursday 15th February, you’re invited to take a look and explore the fascinating potential of the future!

Come down to experience this unique display first-hand, where you can meet and interact with our robots and share your own ideas on what you think the robots should do! 

Neon Dance presents this exhibition and installation in collaboration with University of Bristol’s Trustworthy Autonomous Systems.  The exhibition will be taking place at Unit 127 (beside Dune) in Swindon’s Designer Outlet.

What is a Robot:

An exciting opportunity to learn and engage with experts in robotics! On Wednesday 14th February, drop in for some of the amazing demos taking place and meet the researchers behind them.

Taking place 11AM – 3PM, the University of Bristol’s Trustworthy Autonomous Systems researchers will be on hand to demonstrate their robotic demos and talk about their work.

Ask the engineers, roboticists and sociologists anything, as they take you through some surprising robotics. What does trust mean to you? What are autonomous systems and how do they work in robots?

Swindon Open Studios:

As part of their 20-year celebrations, Swindon Open Studios is working with Swindon Designer Outlet to host a pop-up gallery at their shopping centre from Saturday 10th – Sunday 18th February.

The artists exhibiting are Sheryll Fox, Charlotte Abraham, Sholeh Jafari, Helen Savin, Andi Theokle and Mary Thorne. For more information about these artists and their work go to our participating artists page.

Short Film about Swindon Open Studios

The exhibition space is located between M&S and Clarks and will be open from 10am to 6pm. Artists will be at the gallery to answer any questions about the art on display and the artwork will be available to buy.
