HALL & WOODHOUSE – WICHELSTOWE

About:  Set on the canal bank, Hall & Woodhouse is a gorgeously designed modern pub restaurant that is extremely family friendly. The pub is decorated with reclaimed wood, nets and even their very own canal boat! This is the perfect spot to bring the family for a lovely relaxed meal that includes a fantastic varied kids menu for those up to the age of 10yrs old which includes their new Badgers Activity Pack.

So whilst the adults chat over dinner, there’s always something to keep the younger ones amused.

The Cricklade Club

About:  Situated in the heart of Saxon Town is The Cricklade Club which is located in a former social club and is attached to a Grade II listed townhouse. The friendly staff and rustic interior creates a relaxing and cosy place to enjoy a delicious cup of freshly ground coffee whilst enjoying an aray of homemade cakes or enjoy their fantastic menu that offers a selection of hearty brunches and lunches that is all prepared by their incredibly passionate cooks. 

Kids Favourites: Their menu offers a special section for kids where they serve some of the best dishes your little ones are bound to love! Ranging from a chocolate chip pancake stack served with whipped cream and maple syrup, scrambles on a toasted muffin, sourdough grilled cheese or a mini frying pan dippy egg with sourdough soldiers.

About: Being right next door to Coate Water Country Park, this pub has always been a family favourite after afternoon walks & exploring. A previous landlord was persuaded to take this pub as soon as his children saw the play area, they loved it that much, so there’s plenty of places to climb, slide & swing too.

The Strawberry Thief – Tadpole Garden Village

The Strawberry Thief is Arkell’s Brewery’s biggest project in their 180 year history. Under the management of Tom & Mairead Titcombe, the Strawberry Thief has enjoyed an incredible start, becoming an extremely popular pub, not only by the community of Tadpole, but the wider Swindon community too.  A popular pub for families who want a nice relaxed meal.

Kids Favourite: Kids Battered Cod Fillet with crushed peas, tartare sauce, lemon and chips. And for desert, the very delicious Blood Orange Chocolate Brownie Vanilla Ice Cream for £5.
