Festival of Tomorrow at STEAM presents LUMA!

Monday 12th February – Saturday 17th February 2024

11.00am – 16.00pm

Luma is 9m long snail who loves an audience. Drawing inspiration from biomechanics of nature, Luma is a stunning and enormous interactive being, which brings wonder, joy and escapist magid. Using soft robotics, internal animated lighting within the biggest robot most people will ever meet, they are safe to approach, touch and connect with.

Luma will be at STEAM Museum all half term, joined by a range of free interactive, hands-on activities and a daily programme of live shows.

Bridge Builders Event

Come and join our Bridge Builders session on Wed 14th or Thurs 15th February at STEAM to build bridges, using Polydron and our own bespoke wooden models of IKB’s bridges!

30 minute drop in sessions between 10.30am -3.00pm

FREE with museum entry.
