M&S Luxury Easter Eggs:

Eggs made for big kids… It’s easy to think Easter is just for little ones, but with our eggs for grown-ups, you might change your mind!

It’s an unspoken rule that Easter is meant to be for the kids, but let’s be honest: what discerning, chocolate-appreciating adult can resist a holiday that actively encourages the consumption of the sweet stuff? And when the egg offering is as elegant and indulgent as this, it would almost be unthinkable not to partake.

Let the kids keep the mini eggs while you break the mould with fabulously designed eggs (available online). Alternatively, head to store to discover an array of show stopping designs that are almost too pretty to eat, including a delicate milk, white and dark chocolate hand-painted trio and M&S Belgian milk and dark egg, which is made by pouring molten 72 per cent dark chocolate over a sparkling gold egg.

Luxury Easter Eggs on a budget: Aldi

Aldi has just launched a luxury range of chocolate products — including a treat Toblerone fans will love, an adorable chocolate Labrador, and a giant 600g egg.

The UK’s cheapest supermarket is offering shoppers a selection to suit every taste and budget, and as of right now you can get your hands on the new Specially Selected Swiss Mountain Egg.

Crafted with silky Swiss milk chocolate with honey and almond nougat pieces, it comes with four mini Mountain bars and is priced at £6.99, making it 41% cheaper than the Toblerone equivalent sold in other supermarkets.

If you’re looking for something a little bigger, then the German retailer is also selling a Giant Galeggsy Egg that at 600g is more than three times the size of a standard Easter egg.

The space-themed showstopper will be available from Sunday, March 10 – and features a milk chocolate shell adored with a 3D white rocket ship.
