It was Monday 8th May 1978 and the Oasis rocked to the legendary rock band AC/DC, the night the leisure dome became the Thunderdome!

Part of the Powerage World Tour, Swindon played host to one of the most legendary rock bands to have blasted your ears along side venues including London’s Hammersmith Odeon, New Yorks Palladium, the Fairgrounds Complex Dallas and Le Stadium in Paris to name just a few.
Even in the early days, the Swindon Oasis was becoming a popular live venue for some of the biggest bands on the planet.
With so much time past, we have only been able to get a likely set list to what would have rocked the Oasis, so here it is:
