Our annual special exhibition for 2024 “Two Sides: The Art of REME” is now open to view in our Temporary Exhibition Gallery.

This is a unique collaborative art exhibition between the REME Museum and the MOD Lyneham Officers’ Mess, showcasing fine art pieces by a range of artists including Grace Ward, Norman Thelwell, Edward Seago and Bernard Dunston.
The Museum’s contributions include pieces created by and/or of REME personnel, often depicting scenes of personnel working with equipment or within REME workshops.

The Officers’ Mess contributions are selected from their large private collection of art, bought by and for members of the Mess. Many of the pieces were created by members of the New English Art Club (NEAC) and Royal Academy (RA) and depict a wide variety of subjects and landscapes. These pieces may be changed throughout the year without notice at the discretion of the Officers’ Mess. Come back again to see what’s new!
Entry included with admission. Open until December 2024.
