Friday 4th & Saturday 5th July 2025
WrdeUp is a family friendly Music Festival for the Highworth community and further afield.
Come and Rock the Rec!
2023, saw the hugely popular WrdeUp Music Festival in Highworth reach its 10th anniversary and local events company Fandangos purchase the festival from ‘WrdeUp Music Festival CIC’.
In 2024, Fandangos put on the best WrdeUp Music Festival ever with headliners Black Eyed Peaz that blew up the stage and kept the crowd jumping and singing along with the band to hit after hit, including ‘Pump It’ and ‘I Gotta Feeling’.
This year (2025) The show gets even bigger with ‘The Marley Experience’ headlining on the Saturday.

WrdeUp organiser Tom Falding said “We are incredibly to be putting on another WrdeUp here in Highworth”.

Tom Falding and his team have been working hard to deliver yet another WrdeUp Music Festival.
Fandangos plan to deliver as much of the event in-house, with the hope of growing the show while making it more self-sustainable and in a better financial position, allowing WrdeUp many more years to run!

The new organisers paid thanks to the committee who have worked so hard for the past 10years, and looking forward to adding to the fab environment previously created.
The first event was in 2013 and was originally organised as a celebration for the Highworth Junior Football Club after winning a regional award. Due to a clear demand for this sort of event for the town the event came back again in 2014, under the name of “Higworts”.
In 2015, the name “WrdeUp” was first used for the event and seemed to resonate with the audience, the majority of whom are all local Highworthian’s. “Wrde” was the first recorded name for our town in 1086, for a short 8 years before being renamed to “Wortha”.
