A dinner at Wrag Barn Golf Club in January launched the Flower Club’s ‘Diamond Anniversary’.

The Programme of events to celebrate this big anniversary will include a flower festival in St. Michaels Church from 19th to 22nd September.
The Highworth & District Floral Arts Society (HADFAS) was formed back in 1964, and has met regularly for the last 60years.
The group are affiliated to the National Association of Flower Arranging Societies whose aim is to encourage the love of flowers and raise the standard of flower arranging throughout the country by training qualified judges, demonstrators, teachers and speakers.
At club level the members benefit from these talented demonstrators at monthly meetings and workshops. Many of the members are experienced flower arrangers taking part in events big and small in the community.

There are also those who just want a relaxing evening enjoying flowers. All are very welcome, whatever the interest in the club.
The Highworth Flower Club meet on every first Thursday of most months at 7:30pm in Warneford School hall.
The clubs next meeting is on Thursday 7th March with a practical and fun evening for members.
Annual membership is just £35 and visitors pay a £5 fee per meeting.
