According to reports Aaron Taylor-Johnson has been rumoured to have been picked by Eon Productions, who produces the Bond films is also said to be getting ready to shoot a new Bond film with a script already being worked on.

The Sun Newspaper said a source claims “As far as Eon is concerned, Aaron is going to sign his contract in the coming days and they can start preparing for the big announcement.” The source went on to say “The formal offer is on the table and they are waiting to hear back.”
So after a long wait that has seen a number of names thrown into the ring to become the next James Bond could be over very soon.
The 33yr old English actor who is probably best known for his role as Quicksilver in the Avengers Age of Ultron and a late addition to the competition amongst Idris Elba, Tom Hardy, Henry Golding & Henry Cavill to name a few. Johnson is the right age, famous enough but not too famous like Cavill. at 33, based on Daniel Craig in the role of Bond who started with Casino Royale in 2006 at the age of 38 and went on to make his final appearance as Bond in No Time To Die at the age of 51, so at 33, this makes Johnson the youngest actor to ever play Bond and give him a good long run of movies before he gets to an age where he has to hang up his Walther PPK.
If the rumour is true Johnson will become the seventh Bond, joining Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan & Daniel Craig.
Johnson was asked by Numero magazine last week about rumours linking him with the role. He responded in saying: “I find it charming and wonderful that people see me in that role. I take it as a great compliment.”
Entertainment Swindon has contacted William Morris Endeavour, Taylor-Johnson’s talent agency, for a comment.
