Life long music lovers Martin Wellstead & Ray Stevens have been working hard to organise Highworth’s inaugural Jazz Festival. Centred around the towns historic High Street, the event will bring around 20 artists from across the UK, performing live jazz across the spectrum from swing to modern and everything in between.
The organisers promise that the event is going to be awesome!
On Saturday 1st June, Highworth will come alive with Jazz across five venues including the Wine Bar, The Highworth Hotel, with headlining acts performing at the towns historic 14th Century St Michaels Church. There will also be open air performances on the podium in the Market Square.
Earlier this year, St Michael’s Church played host to a sellout launch event with the amazing Simon Spillett Quartet.
The events organisers welcome any support from local business and are on actively seeking sponsors. So if you are a local business, then get in touch. It will be a great opportunity to promote your business, be featured in the event program and take part in something truly momentous.
