Swindon & Wiltshire Pride are excited with the up coming August event which will take place at its new location, the GWR Park in the heart of Swindon.

Swindon & Wiltshire Pride is coming back bigger & better than ever!
After two incredible years at Queen’s Park the celebration will be moving to GWR Park, providing the perfect canvas for a Pride experience like no other.
The Pride March will kick off the day meeting at 11am in the space outside Regents Circus, Swindon, SN1 3DQ. Promptly starting at 11:30am, the march will make its way through town, towards the Town Hall and then to GWR Park ready to begin Pride.

Accessibility: There are no steps on the route. The Parade will be loud, so if you are sensitive to noise, please bring ear defenders.
Dogs: Please note the following and make your judgement. The Parade will be loud, there will be lots and lots of people.

Pride 2024 – 11am – 8pm.
After two years at Queen’s Park we’re moving to GWR Park!

We have increased our hours this year – the park will be open from 11am to 8pm!
- 11am to 12pm will be a quieter hour with reduced noise, ideal for visitors who prefer to explore the event with less distractions
- at 12pm the Pride March will arrive and the main stage entertainment begins! We’ll have live music and acts on stage throughout the day
Will free water be available?
Details are to be confirmed, but a range of soft drinks will be available to purchase.
Will tea and coffee be available?
Yes, we plan to have a dedicated tea and coffee vendor at the event this year!
What food options will be at the event?
The food offerings are subject to change but we plan to have a range of food available include vegetarian and vegan options:
- hot food including burgers, mac n cheese, roast potatoes
- cold food including sausage rolls, vegan snacks
- sweet treats including ice cream, churros, cupcakes
What drinks options will be at the event?
The drinks offerings are subject to change but we plan to have a range of options:
- A fully licensed bar offering a range of alcoholic and soft drinks
- tea and coffee
- Iced tea, milkshakes and other speciality drinks
- Soft drinks available from food vendors
Will I be able to buy things at the event?
Yes, we have a range of traders, with a focus on supporting local businesses, at the event – and of course we wll also have a full range of Pride merchandise recognising a wide range of identities available too!
Can I bring my own food and drinks?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own food and drinks, including alcohol. No glass bottles, and please make sure to recycle using the bins provided!
If you are drinking, please do so responsibly. Pace yourself, and drink plenty of water or soft drinks in between alcoholic drinks. We recommend you don’t drink on an empty stomach and make sure you eat throughout the day.
Will there be seating?
There will be limited seating available, and it will be prioritised for those with accessibility needs – you are encouraged to bring chairs or a picnic blanket if you’d like to sit!
Will there be parking?
There is no designated parking for GWR Park. If you’d like to park on the day, see local car parks.

GWR Park is wheelchair accessible. The park can be loud, so please be wary if you’re sensitive to sound, you might want to bring ear defenders.
Arval returns again this year to ensure Pride remains accessible to all.
Are dogs allowed?
Dogs are allowed at the event. However, please consider that our event tends to be large and noisy, with many people in attendance. We encourage you to use your judgment when deciding whether to bring your furry friend. While some dogs may enjoy the excitement, others may find it overwhelming. Ultimately, the well-being and comfort of both your dog and our event attendees are paramount. Please note dogs must be on their lead at all times.
How do I get to GWR Park?
GWR Park is approximately a 15 minute walk from Swindon Train Station. You can get directions here.
