Join the Richard Jefferies Museum team for an early-evening urban guided walk exploring part of Victorian Old Town, visiting some of the places associated with, or familiar to Jefferies before he moved out of Wiltshire. The walk will visit the Lawns, the original Market Square, and take a circuit of nearby streets.
Walk distance approx 2 miles/4 km, mostly on public pavements/footpaths with hard surface.
There is an opportunity to visit a local pub to buy a post-walk drink if desired. This is the last guided walk in the museum’s 2024 season.
There is no charge to attend this event but places are limited, so attendees must pre-book by emailing walks@richardjefferies.org
