Nestled in the heart of Swindon, The Link Centre stands as a fun-tastic destination for families seeking a fun, engaging, and memorable day out.
The centre caters to a wide range of activities, including of course the international size (26x56metres) ice-rink with over 1000 spectator seats, as well as being home to the Swindon Wildcats ice hockey team.

Although opened in 1985, the building still looks strikingly modern. The impressive ice-rink not only caters for public skating sessions where all levels can take to the ice with skate hire available, the rink is also available for lessons for those wanting to improve their skills and for those young beginners, theres even penguin skating aids available. For the more advanced and adventurous there’s figure skating lessons and the chance to learn to play ice hockey available, the Link Centre is recognised as a centre of excellence for both figure skating and ice hockey, with Team GB figure skaters as part of the coaching staff.

The is even a twice weekly Ice-Disco for those experienced skaters where you can take to the ice, gliding and grooving to the classic hits belted out by the DJ whilst disco lights beam down on you. The perfect way to have fun and get some exercise at the same time with all your friends.
The Link Centre ice-rink as well as its other facilities is truly a great place to take the kids to have some great family fun under the roof and out of the rain.
