This October, Swindon Story Shed will be putting on a FREE event at the Brunel Shopping Centre next month, include creative writing, art, character creation, sound, build-a-story and more (places will be limited, so booking is advised to avoid disappointment. The full list of workshops and booking options will be available on swindonstoryshed.co.uk from the beginning of October).
Recently the team have enjoyed Puppet Making workshops at Swindon’s libraries, Art and Story-making in the Outlet Village, and various activities in Freshbrook Community Centre, among others. We’re really looking forward to seeing what we can do with this new space!
Our pop-up bookshop with new books, secondhand books and FREE books for all ages will also be in the Brunel this half term, so do pop in and say hello, have a browse or come and share your ideas with us!
Swindon Story Shed will be in the Brunel from 24th October – 2nd November (closed on Sundays) – we can’t wait to see your amazing stories!
