BIG changes are coming to McDonald’s menu near you this October!
The fast food giants are switching up their menu as we step into the autumn.
It is not uncommon for McDonald’s to shake up what is sold across its over 1,400 stores to make way for new items.
Last month saw the return of the popular Monopoly game which will come to an end at 11:59pm on 16th October. To celebrate the franchise launch, McDonald’s added six new items to the menu, including the never seen before Twix Latte.
So whats out??? Customers will have to say goodbye to the Philly Cheese Stack, Chicken Big Mac, Mozzarella Dippers, Galaxy Chocolate McFlurry, Twix Caramel McFlurry and the Twix Latte.
These items were rolled out across stores on the 4th September, in conjunction with the return of McDonald’s Monopoly. But when the game ends in just after a week, these items will also be removed.
For some there will be disappointment, but just remember, when McDonald’s ditch items, they always replace.
So whats coming to McDonald’s this month? Well… the fast food giant have already confirmed an all-new breakfast item, mini-hashbrowns, the potato bites will come in either a portion of 5 at £1.49 as well as a portion of 15 for £2.29.

The breakfast menu already sells regular sized hashbrowns for £1.19
Maccies already sells regular-sized hashbrowns for £1.19. It’s still unclear whether or not the new morning snack will become a permanent menu item or will only be available for a limited period.
The big shake-up on the menu is the McRib! Not confirmed, but Maccies have hinted the McRib could be coming back to the golden arches menu. Apart from the sporadic return to the menu, the McRib has not been on the menu since 1985 after a four year stint on the menu.
When asked if the McRib is coming back, a spokesperson said: “McDonald’s is always looking to innovate with new and exciting menu items, as well as bringing back the fan favourites.
“If you’re keen to be the first to receive more info from McDonald’s stay tuned.”
