More LEGO Transformers are rumoured for a 2025 launch. So far, the collection includes (10302) Optimus Prime and (10338) Bumblebee but the question of what another build would be is worth raising in light of this rumour.
The obvious answer is more figures of specific characters that can transform, and should this rumour be accurate it seems certain that at least one more of those is on the way. Hopefully, it’s finally a Decepticon.
That’s not all that LEGO Transformers could cover though, but it depends on whether the LEGO Group would be interested in expanding beyond figures in the future. Of course, no further LEGO Transformers sets are officially confirmed at the time of writing and all rumours should be taken with caution.
The LEGO Helmet Collection across Star Wars, Marvel and DC is rumoured to return in 2025 via two new builds. So it could be that Transformers joins the LEGO Helmet collection. An Optimus Prime or Megatron head sculpture would be an awesome addition to this collection.
SOme of the transformers could prove difficult to replicate as transformable LEGO sets, so going down the line of Autobot vehicles for example, like the style of LEGO Speedway Champions could be the way to go. The LEGO fanbase community online have already been inspired to recreate Speed Champions cars to resemble cars from the Transformers movies.
All we can do is wait and see what LEGO release next year.
