GYPSY PISTOLEROS + BLITZ, Greatest renegade Punk Glam Rock band ever! Will be performing at The Vic, Swindon from 8pm.

This 3-piece rock band from Nottingham, renowned for their high-octane live performances and massive Rock Anthems will be looking to tear off the roof of The Vic! This is a gig not to be missed!

The band’s first release was there 7 track EP released in 2016 under their own label which gained a 9/10 in Power Play Magazine creating a buzz on the underground rock circuit, the EP is now a must have
collector’s item.

With album artwork that captures a Manga Marvel Mash up Style BlitZ aren’t just a band, they are a brand!
BlitZ soon began gaining interest from the ever-growing European Rock Scene and a deal with City Of Lights Records soon followed in 2019.
The album received staggeringly positive reviews worldwide.
BlitZ released there follow up album Fight To Survive via KSM Records and Entertainment in August 2020, once again notching up some scorching reviews in the Rock press from the UK to the USA Europe and
Japan.

The singles Waiting for a Miracle, Breaking Out,Keep Moving on and Rock City Nights were played on rotation on BBC Radio. In 2022 BlitZ released the live album Take No Prisoners capturing the full audio assault of a BlitZ performance, recorded on their Fight To Survive tour throughout the UK, sharing stages with Skid Row, The Darkness, Marco Mandoza.

‘Kicking Up A Storm’ BlitZ started recording their 3rd album entitled “Kicking Up A Storm “back in April 2022 at Axis Studio in Doncaster, UK with Matt Elliss. With a solid working relationship that goes back to 2016 we knew we was in good hands with Matt. The whole recording process took about 8 months. Matt is very good at getting the best out of each member, pushing you to the limit on all levels. With his expert knowledge of recording techniques and production, we knew the 3rd album was shaping up to be the best work we’ve done.

The approach to the writing was very intensive on all levels, we just pushed each other to write the best 10 songs we could.
Single choice was a very difficult decision to make as we knew every song could have been a single. ‘Breakneck’ the 1st single made it on BBC radio in the UK. ‘Freddie Said’ the 4th single which pays tribute to
the late great singer Freddie Mercury from Queen who are a major influence on the band.

Stuart Corden – Bass and lead vocals.
Kevin Simpson – Guitars, piano and backing vocals.
Mat Davis – Drums and vocals.

BlitZ told Entertainment Swindon “We can’t wait to get the album out there for the whole world to listen to. 2024 is shaping up nicely, we already have some fantastic gigs lined up, starting with HRH in April 2024 sharing the stage with American legends Quiet Riot”.
