Saturday 19th October saw the legendary General Levy perform at Chippenham’s well known night club. Off the back of filming his latest music video where he features on Swindon’s very own urban artists laters music video Put Me Down, Levy performed to a buzzing crowd who also got an exclusive first live performance of Put Me Down which was excitedly received by the crowd.

Club manager Wes Common said: “Absolutely incredible performance from an iconic legend! He never fails to draw in the crowd. An amazing night had by all”.
The crowd that were a mix of all ages, from the GenX that first witnessed Levy on the music scene with the release of Incredible, produced by M-Beat which first went to 39 in the UK charts and re-released a few months later and reached No8 and young GenZ who have become a big part of his fanbase in recent years listening to Levy’s social media content with recent collaboration songs being released this year with ‘Good Mourning’ with Shaznay Lewis & Shola Ama and featuring on Leanne Louise song with DJ Illatek ‘Old Days’ which is his first song to hit into the top 40 (peaking at 34) since Incredible in 1994.
Incredible is still to date, Levy’s biggest chart success, but still sees the Jungle Legend booked for gigs and festivals all over the globe.
