Lydiard Christmas Lights Switch On
Get into the festive spirit with music and carols, leading up to the magical moment when Lydiard’s Christmas tree is officially lit up! Enjoy festive treats and cosy drinks throughout the evening.
No need to book, just come along and join us outside Lydiard House on Friday 29th November, 4.30pm – 6pm.

Festive Guided Tour of Lydiard House with Cream Tea

Discover the fascinating history of the St John family, with its colourful characters, scandals and tragedies. Traditional floral decorations and a real Christmas tree will adorn the elegant State Rooms.
After the tour, you will enjoy a delicious cream tea within Lydiard Park Hotel.
10th & 17th December
Carols by Candlelight with Cream Tea
Get into the Christmas spirit by joining us for traditional carols and readings of festive favourites, in the beautiful setting of St Mary’s Church.

4th – 22nd December
Step back in time this December and experience the decorated halls at Lydiard House Museum for the festive season.
Families can enjoy Christmas crafts on the weekends leading up to Christmas.
Lydiard House Museum is open Wednesday to Sunday, 11am – 4pm.
26th December
Enjoy a winter walk with the family before joining us for a delicious Boxing Day sandwich at Lydiard Park Hotel Palm Bar & Restaurant. Available from 12pm on Thursday 26th December.
31st December
Celebrate New Year’s Eve within the beautiful setting of Lydiard Park Hotel and welcome in 2025 in style. Enjoy a glass of fizz on arrival and a fabulous 3 course gala dinner, before partying the night away.
