Between Christmas and New Year, the Longevity Games hosted its first indoor test event, and what a day it was! says event organisers. Longevity Games founder Tim Howe said “The atmosphere was electric, and we’re thrilled to say we’ve ironed out every detail to make the main event on Sunday, 9th February even better”.

There are three levels which opens the event for all, whatever your fitness background, age or gender.
Novice: Perfect for those starting their fitness journey or getting back into exercise. Light challenges designed to build confidence and keep you moving.
Intermediate: For those who work out regularly and are ready to push themselves further. A mix of strength, endurance, and functional movements.
Proficient: Ready for a serious challenge? This level is for seasoned fitness enthusiasts looking to test their limits.

The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with many acknowledging the event’s potential to put Swindon on the map for all the right reasons.
The clock is ticking for anyone who wants to kick off the New Year in style and make 2025 the year of transformation. Entries for The Longevity Games close on Sunday, January 26th, 2025. Be Part of Swindon’s Legacy… The Longevity Games isn’t just a fitness event; it’s a movement aimed at redefining how Swindon approaches health and wellness. By bringing together residents, fitness professionals, and community leaders, this initiative is setting the stage for a healthier, more active future.
The Longevity Games is a community spirited event where your competition is yourself, supported by both volunteers and fellow competitors of the event. After a successful 2024, the event, designed to promote long-term physical and mental health in Swindon is now looking to the future of The Longevity Games moving into 2025 and to make it a regular event in the town, which to kick off 2025, there will be an indoor event added to give people the opportunity to get their new year off to a great healthy start out of the cold and wet weather.
Founder Tim Howe set up The Longevity Games to encourage people of all ages and abilities to participate in functional exercises aimed at maintaining mobility, improving strength and balance, enhancing cardiovascular health, promoting social interaction, boosting mental health and enhancing general quality of life. The exercises involved throughout the event are designed to work the body for normal daily life and to maintain it long term, exercises that mimic activities such as standing up out of a chair, picking up shopping bags and even getting on the floor to play with your children and grand children.
