A new adventure awaits within Lumiose City for fans of Pokemon & Nintendo, where an urban redevelopment plan is underway to shape the city into a place that belongs to both people and Pokémon. Find out more when Pokémon Legends: Z-A comes to Nintendo Switch in 2025!

Pokemon is one of the biggest franchises in the industry, and despite the fact that 2025 is seemingly breaking the traditional development cycle for new generations, with Gen 10 presumably coming out in 2026, there is still a lot of hype surrounding confirmed and potential releases for this year. Like every year, one of the biggest times for Pokemon fans comes on Pokemon Day (27th February). Between video games on Nintendo consoles, mobile titles, and the trading card game, the franchise is looking at a rich 2025 that may be even bigger than anticipated if even some of the leaks are true.
The biggest release of the year for the franchise is likely to be the Kalos-set Pokemon Legends: Z-A, at least based on confirmed information. There is no official release date for the game, but based on leaks and past patterns it seems plausible that a gameplay trailer will be released before the end of February 2025, and the game itself seems likely to come out between March and June.
