The children of Swindon Youth Darts, will be running a 12hr dart-a-thon, raising money by sponsorship for MacMillian.

The event is on Sunday 13th April, and runs from 10am through to 10pm.

A few of the older children are planning on doing the whole 12 hrs, and the younger children are doing “shifts”

the event will also be holding a raffle which will raise money for Prospect Hospice.

Speaking to, Clare Baker of Swindon Darts Hub said: “The event has been mentioned to myself a couple of times by children/parents, so I thought what better way to give back to the community who have supported the children, than raising money for such amazing charities.

We will be having a fuelling station, pizza, hot dogs, cakes etc. and a local business Sweets Galore is joining us with his sweets to give a much needed sugar rush.

The Swiss Chalet as always has been amazing by opening early for us to start the event”.

The events target for MacMillian was £1000, but the organisers of the event believe they will smash that target, as the fundraising page is already at £978.06, and that doesn’t include all the sponsors on old fashioned Sponsor Forms.

The event taking place at The Swiss Chalet starts at 10am till 10pm.
