Party people, get ready for a nostalgic trip back down memory lane to the days of clubbing at its height! The 90s and the 00s, a time where towns up and down the country were full of bars and clubs, a time where Swindon’s town centre had a whole strip of themed bars like ‘The Bedrooms, Destiny & Desire, Route 66 (the original one!) & Kaos. The Heyday of the legendary Brunel Rooms and Cairos which opened back in 1990.

Friday 25th May, The County Ground will be full of nostalgic banging tunes from the 90s and 00s!

On Friday 23rd May 2025, the County Ground will put aside the football and launch you back in time with headliners Vengaboys, backed up by the likes of Ultrabeat, Tinchy Stryder and Whigfield.

The stadium will transform into a retro heaven ready for dance floor anthems etched in the minds of every member of GenX! Vengaboys who will be headlining what will be the greatest dance floor party of 2025 will belt out anthems like ‘Boom Boom Boom’ and ‘We Like to Party’, the Eurodance group have promised to deliver a high-energy set that will take us back to the days of bright coloured inflatable furniture, baggy trousers, grunge ripped jeans, bucket hats and bomber jackets.

Joining them will be Whigfield, the voice behind Saturday Night, the infectious track that took the UK by storm in the mid-90s, as well as Tinchy Stryder, who brought grime into the mainstream with tracks like Number 1, and DJ Sammy, who shot to chart-topping fame with his version of Bryan Adams’ Heaven.

And that’s not all! Ian Van Dahl, Flip n Fill, Ultrabeat, Platnum, and Ironik will also be performing, with Swindon’s very own Craig Knight keeping the crowd warmed up between sets.

It’s the first of a two-night event, with Clubland Live taking over the Friday and Could Be Real tribute performances lined up for the Saturday. The double-header is already proving hugely popular, with over 3000 tickets have been snapped up so far, with organisers confident of hitting the 5000 mark once again, matching last year’s turnout.

Speaking about the importance of these large-scale events, James Watts from the club commented: “Events at the Nigel Eady County Ground are extremely important to cash flow for the business, especially when we’re not hosting football matches in the summer. Between the concert and what we’re doing in The Legends Lounge, we’re focused on turning the stadium into a space for more than just sport – it’s about creating experiences year-round.”

Tickets for both nights are on sale now, so whether you’re reliving your clubbing years or just love a good bop in the sun, this one’s not to be missed.
