The Longevity Games is proud to announce that Jim Robbins, Leader of Swindon Borough Council, has officially entered the upcoming event taking place on Saturday, 18th May at the Swindon Athletics Track.

True to his word and consistent in his support of the initiative, Cllr Robbins decision to step up and participate personally marks a moment of leadership in action. As the Games continue to inspire residents of all ages and abilities to become more active, stronger, and fitter, Jim Robbins is showing the community exactly what it means to lead by example.
“This isn’t about watching from the sidelines,” said a spokesperson for The Longevity Games. “It’s about being in it together. And Jim’s commitment sends a clear message: If we want a healthier, more active Swindon, it starts with all of us — especially those in leadership.”
The Longevity Games is designed to encourage everyone — from complete beginners to seasoned athletes — to embrace physical activity in a fun, welcoming, and inclusive environment. Participants enter at their own level and take part in a series of enjoyable challenges aimed at building confidence and community.
With entries closing on Saturday, 4th May, organisers are encouraging the public to follow Jim’s lead and take that all-important first step toward their own journey.
