Dr. Vardan Tadevosyan, First GP to Take Part in The Longevity Games, Inspires Long-Term Health Awareness
Dr. Vardan Tadevosyan, a respected GP from Royal Wootton Bassett, will become the first general practitioner to participate in The Longevity Games. Dr. Tadevosyan’s involvement marks a significant milestone in the event’s mission to promote health, wellness, and longevity through active participation.
Dr. Tadevosyan reached out to the organisers of The Longevity Games after reading an article about the event in Swindon Link Magazine. Inspired by the event’s innovative approach to ageing well and staying active, Dr. Tadevosyan decided to attend the February 2025 event held at Delta Tennis Centre in Swindon. His participation further emphasises the importance of proactive health management, particularly as individuals age.
“I’ve always been passionate about the long-term health of my patients,” said Dr. Tadevosyan. “When I saw the article in Swindon Link Magazine, I immediately knew that The Longevity Games could play an important role in not only promoting physical activity but also in raising awareness about the importance of preventative health measures.”

During the event, Dr. Tadevosyan took part in the activities and shared his perspective on why it’s crucial to start prioritising health early and consistently. He stressed that taking small, manageable steps—such as participating in events like The Longevity Games—can have a significant impact on preventing future health issues.
The Longevity Games, which brings together people from all walks of life to challenge themselves in a supportive, community-driven environment, continues to grow in popularity. The event aims to foster a mindset that embraces ageing well, encouraging people to remain active and involved as they age.
Dr. Tadevosyan’s participation marks a growing trend of healthcare professionals embracing wellness and longevity as key areas of focus for both themselves and their patients. His involvement highlights the vital role that primary care providers can play in encouraging and leading by example when it comes to healthy ageing.
