Thunderbolts (Disney) – 2nd May:
The fifth and final movie of Phase Five of the MCU. Based on Marvel Comics Thunderbolts, an ensemble of heroes with no super powers produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.
Directed by Jake Schreier and starring Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, Wyatt Russell, Olga Kurylenko, Lewis Pullman, Geraldine Viswanathan, David Harbour, Hannah John-Kamen, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus, this will be the 36th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe which follows a group of antiheroes caught in a deadly trap and forced to work together on a dangerous mission! Oh… Did I say, they have no super powers…

Finally the MCU have brought out a movie that is worth watching!… Since Avengers End Game, the MCU has been very disjointed and put out some poor movies, and those that were great like ‘Eternals’ seems to have had the brakes put on and filed into the bin with little or no hope of getting a sequel. The dots are rejoining, it seems the MCU is getting its magic back, the magic it had all the way to the end of End Game! Bringing back Bucky Barns (Winter Soldier) feels like we are back on track and as he assembles an unconventional team of anti-heroes, these disillusioned castoffs must embark on a dangerous mission that will force them to confront the darkest corners of their pasts. Will this dysfunctional group tear themselves apart, or find redemption and unite as something much more before it’s too late?

In the film the celebrated broadcaster and filmmaker reveals how his lifetime has coincided with the great age of ocean discovery. Through spectacular sequences featuring coral reefs, kelp forests and the open ocean, Attenborough shares why a healthy ocean keeps the entire planet stable and flourishing.

Stunning, immersive cinematography showcases the wonder of life under the seas and exposes the realities and challenges facing our ocean as never-before-seen, from destructive fishing techniques to mass coral reef bleaching. Yet the story is one of optimism, with Attenborough pointing to inspirational stories from around the world to deliver his greatest message: the ocean can recover to a glory beyond anything anyone alive has ever seen.
Ocean with David Attenborough will invite audiences worldwide to come together to experience Attenborough’s untold story of the ocean on the big screen.
