Swindon’s very own twin singing duo Billy & Louie have been captivating audiences across the UK this summer, showcasing their signature twin harmonies at festivals and intimate venues nationwide. Now back in their hometown, the brothers are diving into the creative process once again, preparing for their next string of shows.

Following the success of their latest single ‘You Are’, the twins have teamed up with local writer and producer RAW to craft something truly unique. Known for his expansive catalogue of music and millions of online streams, RAW has brought his distinctive lo-fi electronic edge to the table. Together, the trio have developed a bold new sound, blending Billy & Louie’s soulful vocals with RAW’s ambient, experimental touch.

Their upcoming release is a vibrant pop/dance track, marking an exciting stylistic shift for the twins. The song showcases their sultrier side, with breathy vocals, intimate lyrics, and a more hands-on role in the production process. For the first time, Billy & Louie have taken the lead in vocal production, exploring new artistic territory and crafting a sound that’s both fresh and emotionally resonant.

RAW laid the foundations early on, composing the track’s evocative chords and instrumental bed. The twins then built upon this, carefully developing a lyrical narrative and melodic structure that complements RAW’s atmospheric production.

This collaboration is just one of many exciting projects on the horizon for RAW, who has also teased an upcoming album via social media.

The new single is set for release on Friday 9th August, coinciding with Billy & Louie’s live debut performance of the track at Swindon & Wiltshire Pride. Long-time supporters of the event, this will mark the twins’ fourth appearance at the celebration – and promises to be their most spectacular yet. Backed by a dynamic troupe of dancers and their signature soul-infused sound, the performance will feature the new single for the very first time.

Alongside Billy & Louie, the lineup is brimming with local talent and international stars including La Voix – British drag star as seen on ‘Rupauls Drag Race’ and ‘Absolutely Fabulous the movie’ plus Natasha Hamilton – former member of Atomic Kitten. 

Looking ahead, fans can also catch Billy & Louie live at the Wyvern Theatre on 3rd September. This will be their second performance at the venue, joined by their six-piece soul band, dancers, and very special guest – 2000s pop icon Sandi Thom, who will take to the Swindon stage for a unique collaboration with the twins.
