Children can enjoy Swindon’s STEAM Museum for just £1 this summer
The fantastic ‘Kids for a Quid’ promotion is back in time for the summer holidays.
The discount is available for visits between 25th of July and 31st August. Up to four children (aged three to fifteen) can visit STEAM just £1 each, when accompanied by a full-paying adult.
The offer is not valid in conjunction with any other promotion, including the purchase of family tickets. Excludes special events and Brick Explorer Day on 20th August 2025.
Woodturning Weekender: 9th – 10th August
Come and join us for a fantastic weekend of woodturning demonstrations and a whole lot of fun!
Headline demonstrators feature: Katie Armstrong, Andy Fortune, Simon Hope and Andy Matthews.
Clinics and Trade Stands

Family Activity: Holiday poster collage: 13th August
Celebrating Railway 200 and the Artistic Lines exhibition at STEAM join us on Wednesdays throughout the summer holiday for a range of creative activities.
On Wednesday the 13th of August join us for a holiday collage poster workshop for all the family.
This drop-in workshop runs from 11am to 3pm and you can drop in at any time.
This is included with standard admission.
Brick Explorer Day at STEAM: 20th August
Join Us for a Day of Fun and Creativity!
We are encouraging all visitors to join us on the 20th of August 2025 for our Brick Explorer Day at the STEAM Museum.
Activities Include:
- DUPLO Trains for Young Kids: Little ones can enjoy building and playing with DUPLO trains in a safe, fun environment.
- Race Your Trains: Put your train-building skills to the test and race against friends!
- Build Challenges for All Age Groups: Participate in exciting building challenges designed for all skill levels and ages.
- Free Build: Let your imagination run wild with our free build stations, where the possibilities are endless!
