One of the most fun things to do as a family during the autumn is to wrap up warm and head down to your local farm and pick your own pumpkin to take home and carve up to sit outside the house to welcome Trick or Treater’s.

Pumpkin Carving at Roves Farm:

Join in the Halloween fun on a family day out at Roves Farm near Swindon this October half term. Put on your most fiendish fancy dress costumes to add to the excitement and see whether you win a prize.
Young wizards or witches in the family? Enrol them in Witches & Wizards School and learn all about potion mixing, spell casting, wand making and broomstick flying from the Professors.
Visit the Pumpkin Patch to select your own pumpkin from the hundreds on display in the barn. Then carve a design and take your masterpiece home with you.

Our pumpkin field will be open again this Autumn, packed full of plump pumpkins to pick, spooky props to explore and plenty of fun for the whole family to enjoy.
Open at weekends only from the 27th September and then daily from 18th – 31st October, our pumpkin patch features loads of Halloween themed props and photo opportunities.
So grab a wheelbarrow and explore the fields to pick the perfect pumpkin!

Farmer Mark’s Pumpkin Patch
Back for a fifth year, Farmer Mark’s pumpkin patch picking is back this October! The spookily successful event is just 25mins drive from Swindon. It’s FREE entry. Pick a pumpkin, big or small.

The farm also has a range of exciting child-friendly activities to take part in, including a pumpkin trail, and halloween arts & crafts.

Pumpkin Picking at Cotswold Farm Park
The much-loved Pumpkin Patch is back! Join us on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays throughout October to get your pick of the patch
Immerse yourself in the autumn wonder of Pumpkin Picking at Cotswold Farm Park. This October pumpkin picking returns to the farm as well as a whole host of pumpkin events, including pumpkin carving.

The pumpkin picking field at Cotswold Farm park opens on the first weekend of October (3rd Oct) and runs every weekend including through the October half-terms until the 31st, offering a great afternoon of pumpkin picking for everyone this Halloween so if you want an awesome pumpkin picking experience for the family, then head on down to the farm this October.
Why not take a walk down the spooky pumpkin trail and have your face painted, with the farm park tickets including a free pumpkin token as well.
If you want just to turn up and pick-your-own pumpkin, you can also purchase a pumpkin-only ticket online.
