Shoppers have gone nuts with the announcement from M&S bringing back their Big Mix Tin, with many customers posting to social media to rush to their nearest store to grab a tin for themselves.
Marks & Spencer’s Big Mix Tin weighing in at 1.2kg is selling for £12 and appears to take heavy inspiration from the large purple tin associated with Quality Street.
However, thats pretty much where the similarities end… The M&S Big Mix Tin weighs 1.2kg at £12, compared to Quality Street weighing just 550g at around £7. M&S also claim on their website the tub is full to the brim, which for anyone that has excitedly opened a tub of Quality Street each Christmas knows all too well of the disappointment when you see a barely half filled tub.

One person on social media said: “Looks ok to be fair… Quality Street has massively gone down in taste, packaging, etc. £12 for a big tin too… these might be the new go-to Christmas chocolates.”
Another added: “Add these to my Xmas list too, please. They look delicious and good value.”
A third said: “We need to get these this year! The Quality Streets weren’t great last Xmas, and these look divine! Also huge tub?!”
One person simply stated: “M&S have brought back proper Quality Street.”

Chocolate lovers have described the £12 Big Mix tub as perfect for the festive season, and are thrilled with the assortment of decadent flavours.
Those who want to try the tasty treats don’t need to commit to the 1.2kg tin, as there is also the 650g sharing box for £7.

Those who have already snapped up a tin have reported it is ‘full to the brim’ with a variety of chocolate-covered treats including caramel, creams and toffees with 10 different varieties. As well as various caramel delights, there are strawberry and orange cremes, as well as coffee truffle, which customers are most excited about.
