Join the team at The Museum of Computing for a spooky and fun Halloween event, they are calling ‘Byte Night’

You are invited to special Halloween event on Friday 31st October from 6:30pm for this spooky after hours event where you will see the museum turned into a hauntingly fun experience!

Explore the history of technology with a spine-tingling atmosphere, giving you a rare opportunity to roam the gallery after dark. The night’s main attraction is a variety of spooky-themed games on a range of consoles and home computers. From 1980s retro classics to indie horror hits from the 2000s. Guests will get exclusive access to games not usually available to the public within the museum, with a focus on digital ghosts, zombies, and monsters.

Beyond the games, the museum will be filled with a chilling atmosphere designed to delight tech enthusiasts and Halloween lovers alike. Visitors are encouraged to come in costume and capture their best selfies among the historic machines.

Keith Mortimer (The Museum of Computing – Chief Curator) said: “We wanted to offer a unique and memorable way to celebrate Halloween, Byte Night is a chance to see the museums incredible collection in a new light, merging the nostalgia of retro gaming with the fun of a classic Halloween night out.”

The first 20tickets are available for just £8each with a further 10tickets available at £12each. This exclusive event is open to those 12years or older; under 16s need to be with a supervising adult.
