Swindon set for epic launch on Monday 24th November as POPEYES® UK opens its doors with plenty of FREE give-aways!
Fried chicken fans can finally experience Popeyes® world-famous chicken from Monday 24th November at a new drive-thru restaurant in Swindon.
Popeyes® UK has announced it will be bringing its Louisiana fried chicken to Wiltshire for the first time, with a new drive-thru restaurant opening at Fleming Way Retail Park in Swindon. Launching on Monday 24th November 2025, the restaurant will open its doors at 11am.
Marking its 43rd opening this year, Popeyes® will be pulling out all the stops, showcasing its New Orleans hospitality with exciting launch day giveaways for the people of Swindon.
On opening day, the first three customers queuing on foot and the first three cars in the drive-thru lane will win the ultimate prize of free Chicken Sandwiches for an entire year*. Plus, the first 25customers in each queue will be treated to exclusive Popeyes® UK merchandise, and the first 50 in each queue will bag a free Chicken Sandwich.
Popeyes® has become known for round-the-block queues on opening day across the UK, with hundreds turning up for their first taste of the legendary Chicken Sandwich. To be part of the action, the team is advising hungry customers to get down early to avoid missing out on the epic giveaways.
With dine-in and speedy takeaway options available, fried chicken fans will soon be able to enjoy Popeyes® favourites like the iconic Chicken Sandwich, Hot Wings, Tenders, and Signature Chicken Wraps.
Popeyes® limited-edition festive menu will also be available at the new restaurant. The decadent Cheesy Collection includes the brand’s first-ever warm cheese sauce, which is featured in the new Cheesy Chicken Sandwich. The Sandwich includes a 100% fresh chicken breast topped with creamy cheddar cheese sauce, a slice of cheddar, crunchy pickles, and Cajun ketchup. Cheesy Loaded Fries and the brand-new Big Cheese Dip complete the ultimate festive collection.
All Popeyes® chicken is marinated for 12hours in its signature blend of bold Louisiana seasoning, then hand-breaded and battered to deliver that world-famous ‘shatter-crunch’.
The Breakfast menu will also be available from 8am until 10am every day, and will even include a Breakfast meal deal for just £1.99- consisting of the Bacon Roll, a Cajun Hash Brown and a drink. The deal can be claimed exclusively through the Popeyes® UK app, available to download HERE now.

The new drive-thru restaurant will be located at the Fleming Way Retail Park, Swindon, SN1 2NN and brings 72 new jobs to the local area. Plans include a drive-thru lane, 69seats inside, self-service kiosks and collection points for orders made online via the Popeyes® UK website or official app.
