Wednesday 18 February: Are you a budding Brunel? Test your engineering skills with our bridge challenges and compete against the clock and your family and friends as part of The Festival of Tomorrow.
Drop-in to Great Western Hall at STEAM and test your engineering expertise. Use our special Polydron kits to create your own unique bridge designs or take the challenge of putting together one of our bridge models. Compete against the clock and your family and friends to see who can create the tallest, widest or strongest structure and problem-solve like GWR’s great engineers.
Drop-in 11am – 3.30pm

We’ll Meet Again – Last Space Available!

Are you a teacher studying World War Two this Spring term? Immerse your pupils in the Home Front era with STEAM’s ‘We’ll Meet Again’ experience. Join us for an unforgettable day including visits to the Air Raid Shelter and an Evacuation Carriage.

Join us at STEAM for Little Locos, our monthly session for under 5s. Enjoy songs, craft, play activities and a themed story all inspired by the amazing objects in the Museum.Sessions run 9.45am – 10.45am in the Museum. Each month we will explore a different theme and object.
