Subject A in DUB are experts in the dark arts of echo, reverb and delay. According to Jane’s Defence Weekly, Good Housekeeping and N Gauge Railway Modeller, Subject A in DUB have got the riddim.
Emma Doupé is unique. She is the only known citizen of Idaho who prefers oat milk to potatoes.
If there was a Venn diagram with a circle for Emo musicians and another for Autoharp players, Emma would be the only living person in the intersect.
That’s actually true.
Phil Gilvin’s volatility on stage is legendary. If Swindon Town win on Saturday you’ll be in for a real treat, if they lose, best take cover. It could all kick off big time.
Mr Love and Justice are the 3 identical triplets and musicians cloned from the DNA of Billy Bragg. They narrowly missed out on worldwide fame and fortune, arriving on this earth just 3 days after Dolly the sheep was born.
Weirdly, Mr is a woman, Love is a misanthropist and Justice is a disgraced high court judge.
Shades Of Silver got their name after they were involved in a shocking industrial accident at the Pandora electro-plating factory during the busy period leading up to Valentine’s Day.
Fortunately it hasn’t compromised their ability to play jazz music.
Thomas Haynes (heir to the workshop manual millions), aka Grasslands was brought up by badgers until he was 5 years old. Consequently he knows a lot about grass and ecology but struggles to find the right buttons to switch off his electronic noise making things at the end of his set. That’s his performance set not his badger’s sett.
It could end up being a very long evening. (EDIT: Tom has decided to perform his 13 string guitar set. It’s like a 12 string but it’s ——– 13.)
Some say it is difficult to accurately describe Zero Gravity Tea Ceremony. I have to disagree.
He does exactly what it says on the packet.
He basically recreates the majesty and calmness of a Japanese tea ceremony in outer space* while playing a guitar and shit.
(*availability of launch times are subject to change dependant on weather conditions and prevailing celestial events so bus replacement service may be substituted or a coffee shop)
Tommo is the secret lovechild of Karl Pilkington and Al Murray. He has been a keen supporter of Baristocats for a number of years and embraces his sometimes wayward neuro-divergancies to the full.
Although Tommo’s oeuvre is mainstream, his often unpredictable delivery will be a (delightful) journey for all of us.
Be beguiled and afraid as you are invited to enter Tommo’s World.

Marquee Square Heroes – Marillion Tribute

As the 40th anniversary celebrations of Misplaced Childhood continue to captivate Marillion fans across the UK, acclaimed tribute band Marquee Square Heroes are bringing their powerful and emotionally charged recreation of Fish-era Marillion to the atmospheric St Peter’s Church, Marlborough, on Saturday 21 February 2026.
Following a series of sold-out shows in 2025, this special performance will feature Misplaced Childhood in its entirety, from the haunting opening of Pseudo Silk Kimono to the uplifting finale of White Feather. Expect all the passion, precision and theatrical energy that made the original 1985 masterpiece such a landmark in British progressive rock.
The tour also marks the anniversary of Brief Encounter, the live EP that helped establish Marillion’s cult following in the United States. Fans can look forward to a set that not only celebrates the music but also recreates the atmosphere of Marillion’s golden era, complete with soaring vocals, intricate guitar lines, and lush keyboards resonating beautifully within the church’s gothic space. In addition, Marquee Square Heroes will perform other tracks from the Fish-era Marillion back catalogue, including songs from Clutching at Straws and the Market Square Heroes EP.
For prog enthusiasts, this is more than a tribute performance. It is a lovingly crafted experience that captures the emotional heart and creative spirit of one of the genre’s most cherished albums.
