This Easter, Vue Cinema at Greenbridge is the perfect place to entertain the whole family!

There’s plenty to enjoy at Vue Swindon this Easter break, from the family blockbusters to returning favourites specifically chosen with younger audiences in mind.

Blasting onto the big screen just in time for the school holidays on Friday 1st April, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie welcomes fans back to the Mushroom Kingdom to join Mario and friends on their latest interstellar adventure!

Following the events of the worldwide phenomenon The Super Mario Bros. Movie, and based on the video game of the same name, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie sees Mario, Luigi, Toad, Princess Peach and their pals jet off into outer space in order to power up and take on the infamous Bowser Jr., rescuing the galaxy from his wicked Koopa clutches.

From mushrooms to magic, The Magic Faraway Tree also joins the roster of family fun this Easter holiday when it heads to Vue on 27th March. Based on the magical children’s tale of the same name, The Magic Faraway Tree follows Polly, Tim and their three children – a modern family forced to relocate to the remote English countryside. As they adapt to their new lives, the children discover a magical tree and its extraordinary and eccentric residents and are transported to spectacular and fantastical lands.

As part of ‘Vue’s Mighty Mornings’, families will be able to enjoy special screenings of a family classic every day of the break from just £2.49 when booked online.

First up, The Spongebob Squarepants Movie: Search for Squarepants will be diving onto screens (available from 27th March).

Next, revisit the award-nominated Little Amelie (3rd  April) and the recent favourite Zootropolis 2 (from 10th April).

Vue will also be screening Bluey At The Cinema: Playdates With Friends as part of their Big Shorts screenings across the Easter holidays, allowing families the chance to enjoy some of Bluey’s best episodes up on the big screen.

Also returning to the big screen as part of the Roald Dahl Back on the Big Screen season are family treasures Matilda, 30 years after its original release on 27th March, and screenings of The BFG on 3rd April, and Fantastic Mr Fox on 10th April.

Rob Lea, Head of Screen Content at Vue UK & Ireland, said: ‘A trip to Vue this Easter break is the perfect opportunity for families to immerse themselves in the magic of their favourite big screen characters.

More than just entertainment, it’s a chance for children and parents to switch off, connect, and create lasting memories together.’
