Meet Dobby – Longleat’s newest aardvark who has arrived in time for National Aardvark Day, 19th March.

Dobby has joined Frankie at the Wiltshire estate, where the female pair can be seen in Jungle Kingdom.

Keeper Amber, said: “They have been getting on well since first introduced; as nocturnal animals they don’t do much in the day except sleep. They wake up ready to be fed by VIP guests in the late afternoon and then will spend the night out and about digging.”
