Ice Age Special Screening

Thursday 2nd April | 10:30 am

‘Cinema @ Civic’ + Create Studios

Step back in time and witness the wonders of the Pleistocene ice age, with the 2002 classic, Ice Age!

Ice Age follows Manny the Mammoth, Sid the loquacious sloth, and Diego the sabre-toothed tiger as they set out on a mammoth quest to return a baby to her father.

The trio trek across an epic landscape on the brink of an ice age, with plenty of obstacles along the way. Starring Ray Romano, John Leguizamo, Denis Leary and Jack Black!

This screening will be hosted in the grand Civic Chamber, and offers some fun for all the family to enjoy this frosty classic! You may even encounter an original Mesolithic mammoth tooth….

Museum & Art Swindon is delighted to partner with Create Studios on this new initiative to offer film screenings in the Council Chamber of Swindon Borough Council. ‘Cinema at Civic’ has enabled the Museum to open up a space that is not usually publicly accessible and invite a new audience to engage with the Museum.

Come and visit Museum & Art Swindon for creative gallery activities and the Fossil Hunters exhibition which celebrates Swindon’s remarkable Jurassic geology and the pioneering individuals who studied it.
