The Tuppenny

Electronic Open Mic Night

Whether you’re a seasoned live performer or someone who’s never taken their music out of the bedroom, this night is all about creating a relaxed, supportive space for electronic music enthusiasts to meet, share ideas, and perform. From beat makers and sound designers to modular explorers and laptop producers, all approaches and genres are welcome.

The evening will feature a series of 15-minute live electronic sets, giving participants the chance to try out their music in front of an attentive, like-minded audience. With short slots and an informal atmosphere, Swindon EMOM is well-suited to those with little or no previous gigging experience who want to get a feel for performing live.

Time: 8pm

The Beehive

BOB PORTER PROJECT

A six-piece singer/songwriter Americana/Blues/Folk rock band, performing mostly original material with sympathetic covers influenced by the likes of Bob Dylan, Tom Waits and Jackson Browne.

The Castle

WILSWOOD BUOYS + GEORGE GAD

It is a real pleasure to be able to bring back to Swindon the fantastic Wilswood Buoys following two smash-hit performances at The Thursday Night Music Club and The Shuffle last year.

This young, new, and exciting trio from Mersea Island in Essex are currently making a serious name for themselves in the UK underground scene. They mix traditional folk with modern alternative acoustic pop, resulting in a raw, fresh, familiar, and accessible sound with barnstorming singalongs. They have toured with Frank Turner and also supported The Levellers and Newton Faulkner.

Support from the most excellent George Gadd, making a much anticipated return to the Castle stage. George won hearts and minds last year with gigs both at TTNMC and our Wednesday residency at The Pulpit with his melodic and poppy Folk Punk for Punk Folk..

Live music from 8.30pm. Entry is free but please do bring some cash for the artists tip-jar to show your appreciation and support live music
