The Castle

Interstellar Cats Collective

The Interstellar Cats have arrived to serve up a lip-smacking cocktail of funk, jazz, reggae, latin, blues, afro and so much more besides.

They bring together top local musicians with years of experience in a huge variety of styles and genres. Exciting, new, original music is interwoven amongst familiar favourites (with a twist) to create a diverse performance like no other.

Above all, the Cats are here to share their love of jamming, spontaneity, curiosity, creativity and most importantly a sense of fun at the heart of everything they do. That, and to lay down the most infectious grooves in town.

Enjoy the eclectic ride through a couple of sets of instrumental originals and a sprinkling of cool covers.

Music from 8.30pm. Entry free but do bring cash for the artist tip jar to show your appreciation and help keep music live.

Time: 8:30pm

The Tuppenny

Mike Evin (w/Brendan Hamley) + David Corrigan

“Mike Evin is a keyboard-driven Canadian songwriter with six acclaimed albums. Channeling the traditions of Billy Joel and Randy Newman, he infuses his sound with vintage soul, World rhythms, and choral harmonies. Renowned for his upbeat showmanship and endorsed by Canadian music icons such as Barenaked Ladies, Evin is also quickly building a loyal following across the UK and Europe.

He comes to The Tuppenny for the first time for a special close-up preview of new and older material.

Local purveyor of beat and wisdom, Brendan Hamley, will be joining him on stage.

Support comes from the quintessentially English, pastoral poise and bucolic brilliance of David Corrigan and his deft and delicate blend of folk and roots music.

It’s gonna be a doozy!
