Join the team from Rockstar Climbing Centre, for the return of the Rockstar Spring Open. Their one day sport climbing competition.
A fun packed day with lots of different challenges.
The Rockstar team will be creating some incredible climbs using an impressive selection of holds that will test your technique, endurance, and of course, your nerve!

Format
Each competitor will have 6 routes to try in a ‘flash’ format, that’s only one attempt folks! The higher up the climb you go, the more points you get. Just pulling onto the start gets you in the running.
It’s not all serious though! Throughout the day we will have a variety of fun climbs and raffles to take part in. If you don’t fancy lead climbing you can enter our Open Top Rope category, just as fun, less scary!
To complete the day you can sit back with a drink and watch the head to head showdown as our 24 finalists battle it out to be crowned the RSO 2026 champion.

Finals
The finalists will be selected from the top 12 male and female scores from the Youth, Adult and Master categories combined.
There will be 4 finals routes, 2 male and 2 female. Each of the top 12 will attempt route 1, however only the top 6 after route 1 progress to route 2.
