Inspired by the iconic shape of the 911 and its characteristic flyline, the new Cayenne Coupé Electric models combine powerful proportions with exceptional e-performance. Visually and technically, they are among the most emotive and sporting cars in the whole SUV segment. At market launch, there will be a choice of three drive variants, with up to 850kW (1,156 PS) on offer.

The Coupé is celebrating its world premiere at Auto China 2026 in Beijing. The new Cayenne Coupé models combine commanding presence with the iconic roofline of the 911 – known as the ‘flyline’ within Porsche. The coupé models are different from the A-pillar back, while the windscreen has also been designed specifically for the Coupé.

“The gently sloping roofline sweeps elegantly over the car’s broad shoulders and gives the Cayenne Coupé a particularly sporting appearance,” says Thomas Stopka, Head of Exterior Design, Style Porsche. The adaptive rear spoiler blends harmoniously into the body, while the way the rear window is embedded and flush-mounted with fewer joints ensures a clean, modern look.

“Precisely drawn lines, wide proportions and high-gloss black side window strips form a design that exudes sportiness in every detail. Extroverted and clearly positioned, the new Cayenne Coupé Electric is a sports car through and through,” says Stopka.

The coupé shape with its sloping roofline helps to reduce drag. The new model’s cd value is 0.23 (SUV: 0.25). This increases the combined WLTP range of the Cayenne Coupé Electric by up to 11 miles to up to 415 miles, depending on the model, compared to the SUV. The Porsche Active Aerodynamics system includes features such as moving cooling air flaps and an adaptive rear spoiler.

Purposeful proportions with outstanding everyday practicality
At 4,985 millimetres long and 1,980 mm wide (excluding mirrors), the all-electric Cayenne Coupé is the same length and width as the SUV model. However, the highest point of the car is 24 mm lower, at 1,650 mm. Despite its sporting lines, the coupé offers a high level of practicality, with a load volume of 534¹ to 1,347 litres and a front luggage compartment that holds an additional 90 l.

The rear seating – available in either a two-seat or 2+1 layout – is electrically adjustable in two ways. As with the SUV, a towbar, and a towing capacity of up to 3.5 tonnes, is available. For customers with increased demands on the ruggedness of their car, an off-road package is also available for the Coupé.

Three models at launch
The Cayenne Electric Coupé models mirror the current three-tier line-up of SUV models in terms of drive variants and can be ordered immediately:

• Cayenne Coupé Electric producing 300 kW (408 PS), overboost power with Launch Control 325 kW (442 PS), 0 – 62 mph in 4.8 seconds, top speed 143 mph, priced from £86,200.00 RRP
• Cayenne S Coupé Electric producing 400 kW (544 PS), overboost power with Launch Control 490 kW (666 PS), 0 – 62 mph in 3.8 seconds, top speed 155 mph, priced from £103,100.00 RRP
• Cayenne Turbo Coupé Electric producing 630 kW (857 PS), overboost power with Launch Control 850 kW (1,156 PS), 0 – 62mph in 2.5 seconds, top speed 162 mph, priced from £133,300.00 RRP

The line-up of suspension systems corresponds to that of the SUV models. The Coupé features adaptive air suspension with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) as standard. For the Cayenne S Coupé Electric and Cayenne Turbo Coupé Electric, the Porsche Active Ride active suspension system is optionally available. Rear-axle steering with a steering angle of up to five degrees can be added to all models.

Thanks to 800-volt technology, the Cayenne Coupé Electric charges at up to 390 kW using a suitable DC fast charger and, under specific conditions, even at up to 400 kW. AC charging speeds of up to 11 kW are available with the car’s standard on-board charger. One with up to 22kW is available as an optional extra.

More extensive standard equipment and optional Lightweight Sport package
The Cayenne Coupé Electric adopts the Porsche Driver Experience of the SUV and so offers a digital and driver-oriented operating concept. This is characterised by a generous display area including a fully digital instrument cluster, the central Flow Display, as well as a passenger display and an AR head-up display as an option. Digital and analogue controls complement each other and their ergonomically optimised for ease of access. With Porsche Digital Interaction, the focus is on individualisation and intuitive operation. The capability to personal widgets, customise the display themes and integrate third-party apps ensure a connected and individually configurable user experience.

With its panoramic glass roof – optionally with Variable Light Control, an electrically switchable liquid crystal film – and its Sport Chrono Package, the standard equipment of the Cayenne Coupé Electric is even more extensive than that of the SUV.

A Coupé-specific Lightweight Sport package is also available as an option. Depending on the model, it reduces the car’s weight by up to 17.6 kg. The package includes a lightweight carbon roof, sporty carbon inserts, package-specific 22-inch wheels and high-performance tyres. Inside, sporty elements feature heavily, such as the seat centre panels trimmed in classic Pepita pattern cloth, the Race-Tex headliner and open-pore carbon surfaces. As an option, the Lightweight Sport package can also be combined with black leather upholstery and a 2+1 rear seat system.

Available to order today
The new Porsche Cayenne Coupé Electric is available to order now at Porsche Centres, priced from £86,200 RRP including VAT. First customer deliveries are scheduled to begin from summer onwards.
