A back to back authentic county music event this Bank Holiday Weekend at Swindon’s very own country music bar the Honky Tonk in Victoria Road, with local based country singer Clint Fisher from Nashville Tennessee on Friday 1st May and Chris Ray from Austin Texas, now based in Kent on Sunday 3rd May.

Clint Fisher will be well known to many country fans from Swindon, having played at the Honky Tonk on a number of times in the past year. Hailing from Tennessee, Clint has cut the cloth as a country singer, performing around the world and opening for artists such as Love and Theft, Buddy Jewell and Charlie Worsham, bringing a seemless mix of country, rock and pop to every performance, with a mix of covers and his very own original music.

Chris Ray will be a new face to Swindon’s Honky Tonk, but just like Clint, Chris has cut the cloth in the world of country music. Hailing from Austin Texas, Chris Ray has performed in Texas Dive Bars and Dancehalls for 20years, wooing crowds with tales of heartache, hard whiskey, and highways that stretch forever with his sand-paper smooth voice and grit of a roadhouse troubadour in his guitar.

Now based in Kent, in the South East of England, after following his flame across the Atlantic has quickly become a popular fixture in British pubs, offering a slice of the American South.
