Fastest goal ever scored in a World Cup was in the first 11seconds in the 2002 World Cup by Hakan Sukur of Turkey in the third-place play-off match against South Korea. Turkey went on to win this match 3-2 and still remains the fastest goal ever scored in World Cup history.
