World Cup Action after, with England vs Ghana match shown after the cricket

The weather is heating up and so is the cricket at Swindon CC, as we host our last Showcase Match of the year. We are bringing hard hitting T20 action to Swindon as Gloucestershire take on Hampshire in a T20….and here is the best bit…..its FREE to see!

After a hugely successful England vs India international that was also hosted at Swindon Cricket Club, the first time an international had been played in Swindon for over 40yrs. T20 Action with Gloucestershire vx Hampshire is promising to continue another epic cricket match.

Following the cricket action, the club be showing the football on three screens, as England take on Ghana in the Football World Cup (21:00 KO).

See below some key details and a few answers to questions we have received:
Event: Gloucestershire v Hampshire T20
Date: Tuesday 23rd June
Location: Swindon Cricket Club, County Road, SN1 2EE.
Entry cost: FREE! (yes, FREE!). Just turn up.

Match Timings:

• Gates open from 15:00.
• Bar open from 16:00.
• Match starts 17:00.

Public parking: Parking will be available in our grounds for FREE, until we reach capacity. Cars parked at owners risk. In the event that we reach capacity there are local pay and display car parks or it may be possible to park in the local area.
Refreshments: A public bar and food vendor will be available on the day. Picnics are welcome, but we ask that no alcohol or glass is brought onto the grounds. Please support the host club and enable us to continue to make these events FREE to attend.
Raffle: A raffle will be run on the day, supporting two charities – End Polio Now and Prospect Hospice. Prizes include a watch donated by Deacons Jewellers and a high end Yeti Cool box.
Seating: We have limited benches and seating around the ground, but these will be snapped up quickly. Please feel free to bring your own chairs or a blanket to set up.
Playing area and nets: Please remain outside the boundary rope, off the playing area and outside the nets and any other cordoned off areas.
Rubbish: Bins will be placed around the ground. Please help us keep SCC clean and tidy by disposing of your rubbish in them.
Toilets: Located within the pavilion. Entry from the right-hand side of the building or through the bar area.
First aid: Please raise any first aid issues to an SCC volunteer or come to the main pavilion building
