The Castle – Old Town

Fraser Morgan + Caughy in The Moon

IT is a very welcome return to The Thursday Night Music Club and The Castle for Fraser Morgan following is blunderbuss of a set for us back in August last year.

Fraser Morgan is a rapidly up-and-coming acoustic folk-punk artist and avid gigger who brings to the stage high levels of passion, energy, and , the crowd on their toes and captivated, and delivering a performance that is often compared to the likes of Frank Turner, Jamie T and Nizlopi.

Fraser recently played his 1000th show to a sold-out crowd at
Colchester Arts Centre, and this experience shows when he’s putting on a beautifully chaotic, yet passionate and enjoyable show.

Throughout his live shows, Fraser keeps the crowd laughing with his humorous one-liners between songs whilst also delivering important messages of mental health within the songs themselves.

He has been featured on Unsigned UK and BBC Introducing for not only his music but also for his passionate discussions about mental health, and has shared a bill with artists such as Luke Concannon (Nizlopi), The Hunna, Rats, Red Rum Club and Ellie Dixon.

Support from friends and favourites Caught in the Moon, an acoustic Americana Folk duo from South Wales who will be very familiar…

This on and off stage partnership beautifully blends the warm guitar work and harmonies of Gavin from Oxbowlake with the melodic, emotive vocals of Jess from Jess Marie Music, resulting in a sound rooted in heartfelt storytelling and rich harmony.

Currently recording their debut release and album, Caught in the Moon are quickly building a reputation for honest songs, genuine connection, down to earth stage presence and the kind of sound that stays with you long after the last note, resulting in an authentic and captivating musical experience.
