Festival on the Farm is a well-established music festival based on a working farm in the heart of Wiltshire, held in Purton near Swindon. Over 3 days in August and on 2 stages, we have a fantastic lineup of artists including original, tribute and cover bands. Great food, Festival stalls, Camping, and day parking available.
Camping field opens at midday, and the arena bar will open from 6pm with DJ Mark England & music from festival favourites BRITT & THE BACKBEAT

Hailing from South London, The Early Swerve have carved out a distinctive niche they proudly call “Gangster Folk”—a compelling blend of folk, skiffle, indie rock, and razor-sharp storytelling. Formed around the creative partnership of songwriter Dave Mackinnon and lyricist Essex Moorcroft, the band draws inspiration from shady local characters, barroom folklore, and the rich tradition of character-driven British songwriting. Their songs combine dark humour, social observation, and memorable melodies, delivered through blistering vocal harmonies and a raw, energetic live sound.
Influenced by everything from 60s British Invasion bands and skiffle to Latin jazz and film soundtracks, The Early Swerve create music that feels both timeless and refreshingly original. Balancing gritty realism with wit and warmth, they have quickly earned a reputation as one of the most distinctive voices emerging from the UK independent scene, proving that great storytelling remains at the heart of great music.
