Top Genesis tribute band returns to Swindon, to perform and celebrate the music of Genesis and the biggest selling acts connected:

Peter Gabriel, Phil Collins and Mike & the Mechanics, this show has an incredible mix of material, from atmospheric anthems to chart toppers. Hits spanning from the late 70s onwards including; Turn It On Again, Sledgehammer, In The Air Tonight, Over My Shoulder, Against All Odds, That’s All, Solsbury Hill, You Can’t Hurry Love, The Living Years and many more.

The frontman, Pete Bultitude, is not only an incredibly versatile vocalist, he is also a truly gifted drummer just like Phil Collins, So expect the show to include the iconic “double drums” element as featured on every Genesis and Phil Collins tour.

The band, named Genesis Connected, has a huge wealth of talent going back years and a genuine love for Phil Collins and Genesis!

Front man Pete Bultitude first fell in love with drumming at age twelve after hearing Phil Collins iconic In the Air Tonight. He got his first kit and within a year was playing in clubs with his parents band. He continued to play with various covers and originals bands until 1999 when he appeared in front of 15million viewers on ITVs Stars in Their Eyes. He went through to the grand final and received over 202,000 votes. Pete has appeared at some of the UK’s top venues including Birmingham NEC, London Palladium and the Grosvenor House Hotel.

Supporting Pete Bultitude is Chris Woods on keyboard and vocals, Stu Norman of Guitar, Tim Amos of Bass and Pedals, and Marty Wild on Drums.

Chris Woods has gained lots of different performing experiences since he was 16. Beginning in pub bands moving onto professional contracts on ships and ten U.K summer seasons. Chris has many musical tastes, but grew up listening to Genesis and all the other artists covered in this project. Recreating these classic tracks is something Chris really enjoys.

Stu is a prog guitar enthusiast and teacher who loves talking parts, tones, technique and theory — especially when it comes to Genesis and the wider prog world.  He grew up in the 80s and 90s as a huge fan of Genesis and Phil Collins, taking inspiration from Steve Lukather, Daryl Stuermer and Larry Carlton among others. When he’s not on the road or running StuNorman Music.

Tim started playing guitar and bass at the age of 12, after a few misspent years learning the saxophone. He is a fully qualified music teacher and has been performing professionally in the orchestra pits of numerous musicals since 2015. Tim is really excited to be performing aboveground with Genesis Connected; playing the music he grew up listening to. When not on stage, Tim can normally be found in his workshop, fixing a customers stringed instrument, or designing and building his own.

Finally Marty, the drums chose Marty at the tender age of seven. His first gig was at age nine and by seventeen he had turned pro. Marty has toured with such names as The Monkees, The Manfreds, and The Blues Band. His main employer for over 20 years was Alan Price. Marty teaches in schools and gigs with a variety of bands, although his main focus is on Genesis Connected. He thoroughly enjoys the music and the challenges a tribute band brings.
