New Releases, This October:

MONSTER: The Lizzie Borden Story – Available to Stream Now

On 4th August 1892, the spouses Borden, Andrew and Abby, are found bludgeoned to death with a hatchet in their home in Fall River, Massachusetts. Their daughter/stepdaughter, Lizzie, becomes the prime suspect in the murders.

Haunted Hotel (Season 2)  – 9th October

In season two, Katherine and her family finally settle into running the world’s most haunted hotel, facing new paranormal challenges, demanding spirits, and an ever-growing collection of unpredictable supernatural disasters.

Is It Cake?: Halloween (Season 2) – 9th October

Netflix’s beloved baking competition series returns as contestants attempt to create hyper-realistic Halloween-themed cakes.

Mikey Day returns as host for another three-episode Halloween competition, with six cake artists trying to fool a new group of celebrity judges.

Netflix announced the date alongside an official sneak peek and key art for the new season. Is It Cake? Halloween season 2 brings in six new bakers. The new season features Bonne Bedingfield, Corinna Maguire, Frankie Velez, Mike Elder, Rodolfo Goncalves and Tiphani Anderson.

They’ll create Halloween-themed hyper-realistic cakes designed to fool the judges, with a cash prize and the title of Is It Cake? Halloween Champion going to the winner.

Season 2 will once again be a short run, consisting of three 40-minute episodes.

Vampire Diaries

The Originals

The Originals is an American supernatural drama television series that aired from 2013 to 2018. A spin-off of The Vampire Diaries, the show centres on the Mikaelson siblings—the original, thousand-year-old vampires—as they return to the city they helped build, New Orleans. The series explores themes of family, power, and redemption, following the Mikaelsons as they navigate the city’s supernatural politics.
