Thats it!…The the hot weather is over, and we’re beginning the long slow run into the holiday season. But before we get there there’s a little something called Halloween to get through. Today we take a look at Prime Video this October 2026.
October has two huge new thriller premieres beginning with Kill Jackie, starring Catherine Zeta Jones, on 2nd October and followed by new Stephen King adaptation Carrie which launches on 7th October and a Halloween special for brilliant UK Original Series Last One Laughing 23rd October.

The Thing – 1982
John Carpenter’s The Thing is a 1982 sci-fi horror classic about a group of American researchers in Antarctica who are hunted by a shape-shifting alien that can copy any living organism.
A US research station, Antarctica, early-winter 1982. The base is suddenly buzzed by a helicopter from the nearby Norwegian research station. They are trying to kill a dog that has escaped from their base.
After the destruction of the Norwegian chopper the members of the US team fly to the Norwegian base, only to discover them all dead or missing. They do find the remains of a strange creature the Norwegians burned. The Americans take it to their base and deduce that it is an alien life form.
After a while it is apparent that the alien can take over and assimilate into other life forms, including humans, and can spread like a virus. This means that anyone at the base could be inhabited by The Thing, and tensions escalate.
Jeepers Creepers
After making a horrific discovery in the basement of an old abandoned church, Trish (Gina Philips) and her brother Darry (Justin Long) watch their routine road trip home from college turn into a heart-stopping race for their lives. They find themselves the chosen prey of an indestructible force that relentlessly pursues them and gives a new and chilling meaning to the old song “Jeepers Creepers.”
Winnie The Pooh: Blood & Honey
